2. Hosting and access data
The website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. STRATO processes access data on our behalf.
When you access the site, the data processed includes your IP address, time of access, requested page or file, response status, data volume, browser and operating system, and, where available, the previously visited page.
This serves to deliver and secure the website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is secure, reliable operation.
According to STRATO, visitor IP addresses are retained for no more than seven days to detect and prevent attacks. Access logs with anonymised IP and host information are available in the customer area for six weeks.
3. Contact by email
We process your contact details, message and attachments to answer your enquiry and discuss potential projects. Providing information is voluntary; we need the relevant contact details and information to handle your enquiry.
Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies when taking steps to enter into, or performing, a contract with you. General enquiries and communication with company representatives are processed under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is business communication.
Access is granted to the people handling your enquiry and service providers supplying and operating our email communications, in each case to the extent needed. Information on international transfers follows below.
4. Processing outside the EU
The Microsoft email service we use may involve processing data outside the EU and European Economic Area, for example through support access.
The published data protection agreements for enterprise services include EU Standard Contractual Clauses. 5. Retention and deletion
We delete personal data from contact enquiries once the enquiry is closed and the data is no longer needed for agreed follow-up steps. Data is retained for longer only where statutory retention requirements apply or the data is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
The legal basis for statutory retention requirements is Article 6(1)(c) GDPR; for retention necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, it is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
6. Cookies and external content
The website files use no cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, or local browser storage. External services are accessed only when you open a link; the respective provider's privacy notice applies there.
7. Your rights
Subject to the legal requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future.
You may complain to a data protection supervisory authority, such as the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia (German).
Your right to object
You may object at any time to processing under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will stop processing your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
